Centraide of Greater Montreal is looking for an Associate, Philanthropic Development for an extraordinary 15-week-full-time position. Supported by the Resource Development Officer, you will contribute to the development of workplace fundraising campaigns. You’ll have the chance to put your know-how and interpersonal skills to work for the community!

The Philantrophic Development Associate Program is a unique opportunity to gain valuable and transformative professional experience. For 15 weeks (from September 2nd to December 12nd), we offer you the following:
- Develop key transferable skills for the current job market through a training program and supervised practice led by professionals in philanthropy.
- Expand your professional network outside of your industry.
- Discover the community ecosystem of Greater Montreal and the expertise of Centraide.
- Learn a new profession by leveraging your skills and knowledge.
MANDATE DETAILS:
Under the supervision of a Resource Development Officer, the Associate will oversee Centraide workplace campaigns. The Associate will be responsible for:
- Monitoring campaign initiatives;
- Identifying campaign opportunities, challenges and areas of improvement;
- Speaking publicly to promote the actions of Centraide of Greater Montreal in the fight against poverty and social exclusion;
- Supporting the Resource Development Officers to implement successful strategies as well as providing guidance on available documentation and products;
- Developing workplace campaigns;
- Representing Centraide to community agencies and organizations throughout the campaign.
Skillsets & Qualifications
- Good knowledge of French and English, both oral and written
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Creative and innovative
- Excellent team player and listening skills
- Adaptability and flexibility
- Good organizational skills, precision and attention to detail
- Ability to travel within Greater Montreal
- Proficient knowledge of technological tools (e.g. Office 365)
