The contribution of Leaders to the Centraide campaign at Raymond Chabot Grant Thornton was exceptional in 2011. The number of donors of $1,000 or more rocketed from 8 to 56.
The firm’s Leadership campaign, which focused on awareness and personalization, was conducted in a masterly manner by senior management, who demonstrated exemplary altruism by participating in all stages of the solicitation process.
The campaign began with a launch breakfast with the partners. This event featured testimony of personal involvement by the leader of a company that was also a partner in Centraide’s campaign.
Personalized emails were then sent by the vice-presidents, who also followed up individually on the partners to promote payroll giving.
By demonstrating that Centraide’s cause means a lot to them at all stages of the solicitation process, the partners set the tone for the campaign and led the firm to confirm its great generosity.
