On Wednesday, October 8,\u00a0Centraide\u00a0of Greater Montreal launched its 52nd annual campaign<\/strong>. Commitment and solidarity were the order of the day! The event, held at our offices, brought together our two campaign co-presidents, Charles Emond, President and CEO of the Caisse, and Annick\u00a0Gu\u00e9rard, President and CEO of Transat, the Chairman of our Board of Directors, Gr\u00e9goire Baillargeon, representatives of the companies campaigning alongside us, a few organizations we support, and our dedicated team.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Together to make a difference<\/strong><\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

During the event, attendees had the opportunity to talk with four agencies supported by\u00a0Centraide: Action Centre-Ville<\/strong>,\u00a0StimuleArts<\/strong>,\u00a0Accueils\u00a0Au\u00a0c\u0153ur\u00a0de\u00a0l\u2019enfance<\/strong>, and\u00a0Collectivement\u00a0Elles<\/strong>. These meetings highlighted the concrete work being done in the field and served as a reminder that one in five people in Greater Montreal benefits from\u00a0Centraide’s\u00a0support.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This launch reminds us how essential collective action is. Thanks to the donations collected each year, more than 375 organizations and community projects can continue their mission: fighting poverty and social exclusion. <\/p>\n\n\n

Two leaders, one common cause<\/strong><\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Our team is proud to have Charles Emond and Annick\u00a0Gu\u00e9rard\u00a0as co-chairs of our annual campaign this year. Supported by a team of dedicated volunteers, this duo is lending their leadership to a cause that is close to many people’s hearts: helping vulnerable individuals in Greater Montreal.\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n
