Its <strong>Strengthening Families Initiatives (SFI)<\/strong> focus on empowerment and solidarity, with concrete programs to strengthen family connections and help them become self-sufficient.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Strengthening Families Initiatives (SFI)<\/strong> focus on empowerment and solidarity, with concrete programs to strengthen family connections and help them become self-sufficient.<br><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Intervention Now (I-NOW)<\/strong> offers immediate, tailored support to young people in vulnerable situations.&nbsp;<br><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Community Access Support Services (CASS)<\/strong> connect families to essential resources, such as social services, schools, and healthcare professionals.&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<p>The impact is real, as over 800 families and young people are helped by CASS, nearly 500 families get tools from SFP workshops, and 148 at-risk youths are supported by I-NOW. A special initiative called SFP Buklod (the Tagalog word for \u201cbond\u201d or \u201cunion\u201d) was also launched to meet the needs of Filipino families.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:30px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading has-text-align-center is-style-little-title\">Not only do families benefit from these programs, but they also get actively involved in implementing solutions by sharing their experiences and shaping the initiatives that affect them.<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:41px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>A yearly graduation ceremony recognizes the success of parents and young people who have completed the SFP program. This award goes to an agency whose initiatives have a structural and lasting impact on communities as they address the root causes of poverty and social exclusion.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The jury was struck by the effectiveness of CDNBCA\u2019s grassroots approach, its ability to evaluate its impact, and its significant collaborations with schools and other partners.
