The women you see below all turned to a community agency at a time when they were highly vulnerable\u2014and in a situation exacerbated by poverty\u2014whether from a lack of social connections, the need to rebuild after fleeing danger in their home country, or deep struggles with loneliness. Staff at these agencies listened to them, guided them, and supported them. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Their experiences also reflect a simple truth: that the fight for women’s rights is a fight against poverty and social exclusion.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n
