Its age distribution resembles that of Montreal\u2019s central neighborhoods.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-white-background-color has-background\"><strong><strong><strong>\ud83d\udc74<\/strong><\/strong> <strong><strong><strong><strong>People living alone and single-parent families \u2013 distinctive features of the neighborhood<\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><br><br>The proportion of people living alone is well above the Montreal average (28%), reaching up to 30% in some areas. This trend is particularly pronounced among seniors: nearly 60% of them live alone in Hochelaga-Nord and Maisonneuve.
