These everyday heroes know their donations change lives\u2014today and for years to come.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity is-style-dots\"\/>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"1\" height=\"1\" src=\"https:\/\/www.centraide-mtl.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/image-1.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-89571\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading is-style-default\">Who are the everyday heroes?&nbsp;<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Everyday heroes give <strong>$1 a day ($365 a year)<\/strong> to support a vast network of community agencies that help more than<strong> 800,000 people <\/strong>annually in the Greater Montreal area.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Their superpower is the kindness that motivates them to give $365 each year\u2014in a lump sum or in pre-authorized monthly withdrawals. Over <\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW7328466 BCX0\">the years<\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW7328466 BCX0\">, I have seen how <\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW7328466 BCX0\">much <\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW7328466 BCX0\">needs <\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW7328466 BCX0\">have <\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW7328466 BCX0\">evolve<\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW7328466 BCX0\">d\u2014and <\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW7328466 BCX0\">how <\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW7328466 BCX0\">importan<\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW7328466 BCX0\">t <\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW7328466 BCX0\">community<\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW7328466 BCX0\"> is<\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW7328466 BCX0\">. Knowing that my <\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW7328466 BCX0\">support <\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW7328466 BCX0\">helps <\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW7328466 BCX0\">people of all <\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW7328466 BCX0\">generations, from young families to seniors, makes me proud. <\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW7328466
