To honour and thank them, a new advertising campaign created by lg2 is being launched today whose main slogan is \u201cUnstoppable Community Spirit.\u201d\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div style=\"clear: both;\">\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">This\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">advertising<\/span>\u00a0<span data-contrast=\"auto\">campaign<\/span>\u00a0<span data-contrast=\"auto\">was<\/span>\u00a0<span data-contrast=\"auto\">produced<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">\u00a0by the\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Centraides<\/span>\u00a0<span data-contrast=\"auto\">of<\/span>\u00a0<span data-contrast=\"auto\">Qu<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">e<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">bec<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">\u00a0in partnership\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">with<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">\u00a0211, the F\u00e9d\u00e9ration des centres d&#8217;action b\u00e9n\u00e9vole du Qu\u00e9bec,\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">the\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">F\u00e9d\u00e9ration qu\u00e9b\u00e9coise des organismes communautaires Famille,\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">the\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Regroupement des organismes communautaires autonomes jeunesse du Qu\u00e9bec,\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">the\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Regroupement des organismes communautaires qu\u00e9b\u00e9cois de lutte au d\u00e9crochage, and La Tabl\u00e9e des Chefs.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div style=\"clear: both;\">\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">\u201cCOVID-19 has triggered a wide range of needs. Despite these challenges, the community sector is delivering essential services to vulnerable people with altruism, dedication,\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">compassion<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">\u00a0and resilience. Agencies are adapting in very creative ways to provide help quickly on the ground. They are transforming their services and mobilizing to provide food assistance, support families and youths in difficulty, break the isolation of seniors, and connect with immigrants, people with disabilities, or individuals with mental health problems. Th<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">is<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">\u00a0ad campaign was created to highlight the remarkable work of the entire community ecosystem,\u201d said\u00a0<\/span><strong><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Lili-Anna Pere\u0161a,<\/span><\/strong><span data-contrast=\"auto\"><strong>\u00a0<\/strong>President and Executive Director of Centraide of Greater Montreal.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div style=\"clear: both;\">\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">\u201cFor a society to function, it needs a tightly woven social fabric.?This campaign<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">\u00a0reveals images of people helping people and shows workers and volunteers from the community sector handing out food, mak<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">ing<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">\u00a0friendly calls to seniors, supporting children over video calls, and distributing\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">basic necessities<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">\u00a0to the homeless.?<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Even with their jobs made harder due to the\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">spread of the virus, social distancing rules, risks, fatigue<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">,<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">\u00a0and sacrifices, nothing has stopped these\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">craftspeople of collective well-being from showing their community spirit.?They are on the front line responding to urgent needs, supporting the vulnerable, and responding quickly to evolving requests for help. Due to the stay-at-home order, we\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">can\u2019t<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">\u00a0see them at work. Centraide<\/span>\u00a0<span data-contrast=\"auto\">wants us to know that they are there and that they are doing incredible things for our society,\u201d said\u00a0<\/span><strong><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Anne-Marie Leclair,<\/span><\/strong><span data-contrast=\"auto\">\u00a0Partner and Vice President, Innovation at lg2.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div style=\"clear: both;\">\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Ads were developed for television, magazines, daily newspapers, local weeklies, web banners, bus shelters, digital signs, street columns, and other platforms. The ads will run across Quebec from today until July thanks to the generous donation of advertising space by these media outlets: Astral,\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Attedra<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">, Bell Media,\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Capitales<\/span>\u00a0<span data-contrast=\"auto\">M\u00e9dias<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">, Historia, KO Media, Le Devoir,\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Outfront<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">, Pattison, Postmedia, Quebecor, Radio-Canada, Ricardo Media, Rogers,\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">S\u00e9ries<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">\u00a0Plus<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">, TC\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">M\u00e9dia<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">,\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">T\u00e9l\u00e9<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">-Qu\u00e9bec, and The Globe and Mail.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div style=\"clear: both;\">\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Centraide would like to thank its partners who contributed their time and expertise to this advertising campaign, particularly lg2 for the design, OMD for ad placements, as well as Baobab Familial, Carrefour familial du Richelieu,\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">J&#8217;apprends<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">\u00a0avec mon enfant (JAME),\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Santropol<\/span>\u00a0<span data-contrast=\"auto\">Roulant<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">, and La\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Tabl\u00e9e<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">\u00a0des chefs, which contributed visuals.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div style=\"clear: both;\">\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Centraide has a presence in 18 regions in Quebec and is supported by private, public and\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">parapublic<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">\u00a0corporations and institutions as well as large trade unions.
