Montreal, March 24, 2020 \u2014<\/strong> Many Centraide partners have responded to the call to contribute to the COVID-19 emergency fund since its launch last Friday. \nWe are also in talks with over fifteen other companies, foundations and major donors.

\n\u201cThe number-one priority for the emergency fund is to ensure the food security of families, children, seniors and all vulnerable people, whether they have limitations or are newcomers to our territory, and give them the support they need to get through this crisis. \nCentraide\u2019s goal is to respond to eligible community agencies within 48 hours of a request for financial support. The process has been streamlined to have a quick impact on as many people as possible who need help.
