To date, we have received a financial commitment for more than $3M from: BMO, Cogeco, Desjardins, \u00c9nergir, Fonds de solidarit\u00e9 FTQ, Hydro-Qu\u00e9bec, Industrial Alliance, METRO, National Bank, Omega Laboratories, Power Corporation, Sun Life, and the Ville de Montr\u00e9al and its boroughs.&nbsp;<br \/>\n&nbsp;<br \/>\nWe are also in talks with over fifteen other companies, foundations and major donors.&nbsp; &nbsp;<br \/>\n&nbsp;<br \/>\n\u201cThe number-one priority for the emergency fund is to ensure the food security of families, children, seniors and all vulnerable people, whether they have limitations or are newcomers to our territory, and give them the support they need to get through this crisis. We thank everyone for showing their local love,\u201d said <strong>Lili-Anna Pere\u0161a, President and Executive Director of Centraide of Greater Montreal.&nbsp;<\/strong><br \/>\n&nbsp;<br \/>\nCentraide\u2019s goal is to respond to eligible community agencies within 48 hours of a request for financial support. The process has been streamlined to have a quick impact on as many people as possible who need help.&nbsp;<br \/>\n&nbsp;<br \/>\nCentraide of Greater Montreal is calling on the public\u2019s generosity as well.
