How to give?

Thanks to your support and trust, Centraide can increase the scope of its actions to fight poverty and social exclusion in all Greater Montreal neighbourhoods and communities.

You can give in many ways

Personal donation

You can make a one-time or monthly donation directly online. You can also give through payroll deductions if your employer participates in Centraide’s annual campaign. If you are interested in this option, please contact your Human Resources department.

in memoriam donation

You can make a donation in the memory of someone who is no longer with us. The deceased person’s loved ones may be informed of your gift if you would like.

Tribute donation

A baptism, wedding, graduation, anniversary or retirement are all events that can be celebrated with a tribute donation. The honoured person may be informed of your gift if you would like.

Planned gift

You can also give through financial, tax or estate planning. There are different forms of planned gifts.

Outright donations

  • An amount of money
  • Eligible securities (stocks, bonds and other securities)
  • Real property and other donations inkind
  • Strip bonds
  • Life insurance (redemption value)

Future or deferred donations

  • Bequests
  • Life insurance (death benefit)
  • Charitable annuity
  • Charitable trust
  • Residual interest

If you have already planned a donation through your will or other form of planned donation, we invite you to let us know: we would like to thank you!
