Major donors

Major donors are individuals who make a personal donation to Centraide of $10,000 or more. Together they form the Major Donors Circle, which currently has more than 625 members. They are Greater Montreal’s pioneers, pacesetters, builders, guardians, defenders, benefactors, visionaries and philanthropists.

In 2019, members of the Major Donors’ Circle contributed a remarkable $16.1 million, accounting for 27% of the total raised by the campaign. Your renewed generosity and trust give us the power to take action to fight poverty and social exclusion.

This success is attributable to the involvement of the influential volunteers in the Major Donors Cabinet, who have given themselves the mission of personally raising donations among their peers.

Several Major donors have also included bequests for Centraide in their estate plans. Consult our section Legacy donors.
