Emergency Community Support Fund

The Emergency Community Support Fund (ECSF) is a $350-million investment from the Government of Canada allocated through Employment and Social Development Canada (ESDC) to help vulnerable populations manage the impacts of COVID-19.

The Government of Canada has partnered with Centraide United Way Canada, Community Foundations of Canada (the Foundation of Greater Montreal in our territory), and the Canadian Red Cross to distribute the ECSF across the country.

Centraide of Greater Montreal has been entrusted with a $7-million envelope and the responsibility of managing the ECSF request process for community agencies in its territory (Laval, Island of Montreal and the South Shore).

If your agency would like to request financial support from the ECSF, please review the eligibility criteria documents below and fill out the request form.
