Territorial Profiles

In order to make judicious social investments, Centraide considers communities in their entirety and produces territorial profiles. As well as presenting socio-demographic data, these documents examine the social issues, needs and Centraide supported agencies in each neighbourhood, borough or region profiled. They are renewed every three years.

Study on the working poor

On October 17, 2016, for the occasion of International Day for the Eradication of Poverty, Centraide of Greater Montreal and the INRS (Institut national de la recherche scientifique) released the results of a joint study on the working poor in the Montreal region.

Evaluation report on the 2010-2015 social development strategy

In 2010, Centraide of Greater Montreal adopted a strategy to fight poverty and social exclusion that was firmly grounded in a territorial approach. Five years later, an evaluation was conducted in six communities to observe changes and draw lessons from this approach.

Centraide of Greater Montreal - A social investor in the heart of our communities

Centraide supports the dynamism of the communities of Greater Montreal (Laval, Island of Montreal and South Shore), especially where poverty is a concern, and helps them to achieve a collective impact in improving living conditions and reducing poverty.

2010-2015 Strategy of Centraide of Greater Montreal for Fighting Poverty and Social Exclusion

In 2009-2010, Centraide has taken stock of the situation of poverty in Greater Montreal and updated its social investment priorities so as to act even more strategically and proactively on poverty and social exclusion.

Journal Centraide (Archives)

The Journal Centraide was published from 1987 to 2014 and was sent to Centraide of Greater Montreal’s volunteers, partners and network agencies. Its last edition in 2014 had a print run of 14,000 copies.
