The Jury was particularly impressed by the:
- Solid foundations of Ernst & Young's Leadership Giving campaign, which has become well-established thanks to the support of the CEO. The campaign has acquired continuity and become an integral part of the firm's culture by promoting social responsibility and involvement on the part of everyone at the firm.
- Generous contribution of the firm's 89 Leader Donors, who include 6 major donors ($10,000 or more), and the 13% growth in donations, which are attributable to the recruitment of new Leader Donors and the tendency for leaders to advance to the Partner, Ambassador and Major Donor categories. This has the effect of increasing the average Leadership donation, which now stands at $3,445.
- Participation of all members of management in the Leadership Giving campaign.
- Exceptional generosity of the firm, due to its awareness-raising efforts.
- Communication of best campaign practices, including identifying the Leadership campaign director and canvassers for the following year.
- Strategic planning efforts, including the mobilization of young employees, to ensure the continuity of Centraide's campaign at the firm.
