A dynamic first campaign crowned with success

The jury was particularly impressed by:

  • Dynamism of this first Centraide campaign at Air Canada Technical Services, which raised almost $75,000, and by the fervent involvement of employees during a period of organizational change.
  • Outstanding support and active participation of senior management, who helped to mobilize employees throughout the campaign.
  • Use of best practices, which laid a solid foundation for future campaigns: creation of organizing committee, personalized soliciting by a team of 10 canvassers selected in each division for their leadership and enthusiasm, recruitment of Leader Donors, and union support.
  • Results achieved: 200 donors, including 29 Leader Donors, contributed for an average donation of over $320.
  • Effective campaign strategy and original promotional activities which gave the campaign a very high profile at the firm and raised employees' awareness of Centraide's cause.
