Workplace employees

Each year, hundreds of thousands of people are asked for a donation during the Centraide campaign in their workplace. In unionized workplaces, the unions encourage their members to support the campaign and help make it a success.

At many companies and organizations, the Centraide campaign is a tradition, a great coming together of people, ideas and inspiring initiatives. It strengthens ties between employees (both unionized and non-unionized), managers and retirees by providing opportunities for conversation and sharing at the human level. People put all their energy into the campaign so it will be a success.

Some 140,000 people contribute to Centraide through a workplace campaign, mainly by means of  payroll deduction.
