Winner of the 2018 Solidaires Mobilization
(999 employees or less)

In addition to acting as co-chair for Centraide of Greater Montreal’s entire 2017 campaign, Mr. Louis Audet, President and CEO of Cogeco, made an exceptional commitment to promote Centraide’s cause among the company's employees. Not only did Mr. Audet encourage everyone to donate, but he also personally attended ambassador training to cement his support for Centraide and reinforce the group’s feeling of belonging. Inspired by Mr. Audet’s leadership, the organizing committee of fifteen ambassadors ran awareness activities and personally canvassed all employees in the company’s six departments.

The company had many strategies to get everyone mobilized and involved for the cause. Cogeco implemented so many activities to connect with employees and provide significant internal and external visibility to Centraide. Volunteering days for employees, awareness videos, personalized posters at the company, a launch lunch, a public auction with radio-station personalities, a gift-wrapping activity with proceeds to Centraide-supported agencies, some healthy competition between Cogeco’s regional branch offices, and videoconferences were the collective initiatives that led to this well-deserved success.

The Solidaires Mobilization is awarded to a company that has run an outstanding employee and/or Leadership campaign that is organized and structured and gets the entire organization involved in the Centraide cause.
