Michèle Thibodeau-DeGuire Award
The Michèle Thibodeau-DeGuire Award was established by the Board of Directors of Centraide of Greater Montreal in order to recognize the accomplishments of this exceptional woman who directed the organization for over 21 years, and the impressive legacy she is leaving behind.
This award will be bestowed annually on an outstanding volunteer who works or has worked at Centraide on the campaign, on an allocations committee or on the Board of Directors.
The criteria guiding the choice of the recipient take their inspiration from the values and the compassion that were the hallmark of Michèle Thibodeau-DeGuire. The award honours a volunteer especially for:
- Consistent achievement in bringing people together;
- Firm commitment to Centraide’s cause; and
- Loyal involvement
The Michèle Thibodeau-DeGuire Award was presented for the first time in 2013 to Jacques Régis.
